To Those Coming
for a First Consultation
Our clinic is exclusively appointment based. Those wishing to come in for a consultation must make an appointment. Please be aware: the clinic can only deal with patients in Japanese. Patients requiring to communicate in other languages will need to provide their own Japanese interpreters.
In general we require first time visitors to give blood and urine samples, for this reason we will require about an hour of your time the first visit. You may take food beforehand normally.
The direction and package of treatment on offer at the clinic is detailed in the book People Who Die By Diabetes, People Who Live With Diabetes.
For those who cannot read Japanese, Dr. Makita’s book is also published in Chinese (simplified and classic characters) and Korean. We recommend reading the book before your first consultation.
